judaica

Living in both Israel and Canada, Karen has become accustomed to the complexities of navigating multiple cultures and traditions. As a mother and a mature university student, she found herself increasingly affected by the rise of antisemitism in downtown Toronto and became compelled to create Judaica that would not only uplift her own spirit but also bring joy to those around her. Drawing inspiration from the rich traditions she holds dear, Karen began blending vibrant colours with her deep cultural roots. Her Judaica monoprints are uniquely crafted by transferring her original drawings onto a gel plate and then reverse-painting the transfer with acrylics, making each print a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Karen would be delighted to invite you for a private studio tour showcasing her Judaica work.
